One thing I've grown to understand is, everything and every experience in life is a part of a bigger process. Before I got deep into the Law of Attraction, I looked at every situation that wasn't what I wanted it to be as bad. As I now look back on some of those "bad" situations, I understand why they needed to happen.
“ There have been three things that I wrote and placed in my box that have come to be. I will share one:”
I am so grateful for all of this wonderful knowledge. I do no know where I'd be right now had I not studied and started practicing the Laws of Attraction the proper way.
Ask, Believe, Receive!
Over the past two years, I have been studying different methods and becoming more in tune with life by using positivity and the Law of Attraction (LOA). Until then, I never really believed in or truly understood how manifestation and the Law of Attraction worked. I started reading other blog stories and watching videos of other’s success stories on YouTube. At first, I was a little skeptical and in disbelief as to how this process worked. Then, I bought the book, “The Secret” by Rhonda Byrne and I love it! I thought, what could I hurt by trying some of the techniques I read about? Being positive would cost me nothing at all. I started with a journal. I wrote my desires, wishes, positive affirmations, things I wanted to change about myself and around me and my gratitude. I started out strong, but then I started to skip days and wrote less. I would still write, but just not everyday like I should have been. It wasn’t that I didn’t believe, things just wasn’t turning around as fast as I’d hope. I was impatient. I still watched videos and continued reading other’s success stories, but I needed to find a more interesting way, in addition to my journal, that would keep me focused and consistent.
I came across a video where a lady started writing down her desires and storing them in a shoe box. She called it her “magical creation box.” She spoke about two of her bigger manifestations that had come true from her written desires. I decided it would be fun to put my own spin on her idea. I made a project day with my three daughters and my oldest daughter and I decorated small wooden trinket boxes and my two younger girls decorated small cardboard jewelry boxes. My oldest daughter and I call our boxes Manifestation Boxes and the little ones have Wish Boxes. The overall process was fun. We used paint, rhinestones and other little jewels to decorate the wish boxes. I wanted simple, so I painted my box gold and wrote meaningful words and quotes all around the outside of my box. You can use any type of box or whatever works for you. There are many variations of boxes and other storage containers. The boxes can be purchased from your local craft store or online. I use regular sized index cards to write in detail the things I desire, pictures from magazines or printed images from the internet.
One important thing to remember is to be very specific and describe in detail the things you desire. For instance, if you want a new shirt, don’t just write “I want a new shirt.” You should detail in color, style and price range. Even a specific store if you’ve seen the exact shirt somewhere. In the beginning of my box journey, I wrote that I wanted to win the lottery. Well, a few days later, I won $5 and I was grateful for that, but I wasn’t specific in saying I wanted to win the jackpot amount (I’m still waiting on that to manifest). On the outside of my box, I have written “Everything contained in this box is.” Once I place a desire in the box, I don’t keep reading it or asking, I simply leave it there and wait. I do, however, go through my box every couple of weeks and remove things that have come or things I may no longer desire or need.
